Aloha!  My name is Tehani and I'm a born-and-raised Maui girl.  I've been obsessed with everything DIY and food ever since I could remember thanks to my late mother who was an art teacher, an awesome cook/baker, and fabulous seamstress. 

As a child, I would spend hours flipping through my mom's collection of Martha Stewart Living magazines, drawing, and painting..wanting to be just like her.  My mom was (and still is!) my role model.  While other kids were out hitting the beach, going to the movies, partying it up, or causing mischief, you could catch me making jewelry, crocheting, sewing, or helping my mom out in the kitchen. 

Over the years, I've been refining my homely and crafty skills, posting all my creations and food on my personal Facebook page.  Friends and family started to like and comment on my posts and thought I should start putting it all in one place.  I thought..maybe...just MAYBE, I could start a blog!

And here we are :)
